Full-Time Nanny for a 4 Month Old in Myers Park Starting October 14th

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 4-month-old daughter. The nanny would be needed Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility to come in 30 minutes early or leave 30 minutes late (the family will request any flexibility ahead of time).

The best nanny for this family would be kind, proactive, energetic, dependable, nurturing, and experienced in caring for infants. An ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and passionate about supporting growth and development through intentional, age-appropriate care.

This family is seeking a nanny who will foster an interactive environment by planning activities that encourage developmental milestones, language development, and learning through play. They would love someone who enjoys going on outings to story time, music classes, parks, and other community activities that promote socialization and exploration. The nanny will maintain her daughter's established daily routine, including her sleep schedule, and provide consistent care. The family values limited screen time and is looking for someone who prefers hands-on engagement, reading, outdoor play, and creative activities over electronic entertainment.

During nap time, the nanny will be proactive in assisting with child-related household tasks and helping the home run smoothly. Mom will occasionally work from home, so the family is looking for a nanny who is confident working independently, respects work-from-home boundaries, and maintains open, consistent communication. Overall, they are hoping to find a nanny who will become a trusted, long-term member of their family.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly as needed (at least weekly)

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Emptying diaper trash

Pets: The family has a very sweet Lab/Golden Retriever mix. The nanny would be asked to take him on walks with the baby and let him out throughout the day.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on Childhood vaccinations, including the annual Flu Vaccine and TDAP prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at $28-$30 an hour, depending on experience
