Full-Time Family Assistant in Eastover for 11 Year Old Twins

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a dad in Eastover in finding a Full-Time Family Assistant for his 11-year-old twins (Boy/GIrl). The Family Assistant would be needed to work Monday - Friday, 7:15 am - 5:00 pm, two weeks of the month, and the other two weeks, Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (times for these weeks can be flexible).

The best Family Assistant will be professional, reliable, and energetic. The dad has custody of his children every other week; on those weeks, the Family Assistant would be asked to help with both childcare and household management tasks. On the weeks he does not have the children, the Family Assistant would be asked to help with House Management tasks.

During the weeks that the children are in the Family Assistant’s care, the Family Assistant should be engaging with the children, able to keep up with kids who are always on the go, and confident in helping with homework each day. Twins enjoy playing soccer, basketball, piano, and guitar. The Family Assistant should encourage practice, get involved in games, keep them active and not on screens, and help shuttle the children between activities. For weeks, the children are not at Dad’s home; Dad needs assistance with laundry, tidying, organizing, personal shopping, grocery shopping, home vendor scheduling, pet care, and preparation for when the children are home the next week.

It is important that the Family Assistant sets a great example for the children and is able to provide a stable and supportive presence when the children are at home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both caring for school-age children and keeping a home running smoothly.

Childcare Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting the daily scheduling needs of the children

• Transporting children to and from school and activities as needed

• Assist with homework and ensure that the children are prepared for the next day of school and activities

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level in active activities

• Coordinating playdates and other activities

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Family laundry

• Meal prep for the family

• Meal prep for dad on the weeks that the children are not at home

• Unloading/loading dishwasher

• Tidying up the kitchen, children’s rooms, and common areas

• Grocery Shopping

• Personal Shopping

• Scheduling and managing home vendors

Pets: The family has a dog and a cat. The nanny will be asked to walk the dog as needed.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional Family Assistant experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• It is preferred that the Family Assistant can swim, as the family has a pool in the backyard. The pool is 4.5 feet deep at its deepest point.

• Family Assistant should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts ideally on August 1st, 2026

• Legal pay is offered at $28 - $30 an hour, depending on experience
