Lower School is excited to announce full-time Assistant Teacher opportunities in the upper grades.
Description
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom tasks.
- Assist and/or lead small group work for enrichment and reinforcement.
- Assist in carrying out a variety of age-appropriate and theme related activities.
- Assist the lead teacher in leading, supervising, and providing classroom structure.
- Provide on campus supervision for play areas to ensure children's safety and learning.
- Supervise lunch every day.
- Provide support and supervision of off campus excursions.
- Maintain an organized and efficient classroom.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Lower School
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Previous experience teaching preferred.
- Adept at both large and small group instruction.
- Proficient in using technology as an instructional tool.
- Experience teaching in an independent school preferred.
