The City and County of Denver, Office of Economic Development’s (OED) Human Resources department is seeking a highly skilled and qualified professional for the position of an Administrative Support Assistant IV (ASAIV).
About Our Job
Maintain OED personnel, family medical leave, medical, and worker’s comp files. Adheres to records retention schedule and purges files accordingly.
Maintain HR shared drive, creates and updates HR documents and forms
Back up Recruitment Analyst with personnel action processing and PEPR processing. Acting as the liaison between the Controller’s Office and the agency.
Assist with the scheduling and preparation of interview packets.
Assist OED University and Human Resource Staff with a variety of duties including data entry and preparation of materials for training classes.
Miscellaneous copying, filing, phones, data entry.
Create data base for the purpose of creating training records for all OED employees.
Entering information on new hires into the current time management system currently used by OED. This person will be entering the data in the new Kronos as well.
Updating the organizational chart.
Employee contact for forms and general H/R information including benefits.
Administrating skills assessment test for new employees.
Creating justification for the purpose of extending limited positions.
About You
Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED Certificate.
Three years of clerical experience, which must include a minimum of 1 year professional Human Resources experience in Staffing and Benefits.
Must be a current employee with the City and County of Denver, eligible for Transfer, Demotion, Re-hire or Re-Promotion.
Must have intermediate skill level with Microsoft EXCEL and Word
A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted to meet the minimum requirements.
About Everything Else
Pay Grade: 612-C
Denver's Office of Economic Development will conduct criminal background checks as part of the hiring process. Successful candidates must be able to successfully complete this criminal background investigation.
