What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Nurse Manager position at CHARLOTTE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE INC?
Sign-on Bonus: $3,000
- Work weekends in a flex position, 11AM-11PM
- If there is a call out (RN or LPN,)
- Covers the shift of the call-out instead of scheduled flex shift
- If there are no callouts
- Work on audits & chart reviews
- Review and complete S & R documentation and video review
- Incident reports
- Liaison to hospitals and law enforcement
- Communicate with LE when a police report needs to be made
- Oversee staff interactions with outside entities to make sure they are appropriate

- Training/supervision of the weekend nurses
- Conduct med education and nutrition groups
- Assist with nursing assessments
- Primary liaison with weekend DOCs to communicate changes in processes/procedures and other training elements
- Completes other tasks to assist Nurse Manager as needed
- Work with Finance team to clear up Smart Care errors
- Retrain nurses as needed
- Assist Nurse Manager with Reviewing and approving payroll
- Will also work one scheduled 12 hour shift on the floor as Charge nurse during the week

Must meet eligibility requirements
- 403b Retirement Plan, with 9% employer contribution for those who meet eligibility requirements.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with two years’ experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse treatment setting
- Must be qualified in:
- Aggression Control Techniques
- Use of seclusion and restraints
- Suicide precaution measures
- Have current CPR certification
- Certified in First Aid training
- Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test.
- Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record
- CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment.
- Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
