We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician specializing in Chrysler Jeep vehicles to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics to apply their expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on Chrysler Jeep vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and brake services to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Repair or replace diesel engines and heavy equipment components as needed, demonstrating expertise in diesel mechanics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment safely and effectively during repairs.
- Interpret ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) diagnostics to calibrate and repair safety features like collision avoidance sensors.
- Maintain accurate repair records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and vehicle status.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with Chrysler Jeep or similar brands is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, mechanical systems repair, and schematics interpretation.
- Expertise in ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, transmission overhaul, suspension system repair, and wheel alignment.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Familiarity with auto body repair techniques and auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
- Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on maintenance and repairs for GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous.
