Warehouse Associate
Position Summary
Our growing, fast-paced team is looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate who takes pride in organization, accuracy, and teamwork. This position plays a vital role in maintaining an efficient warehouse by receiving, stocking, organizing, and preparing inventory for customer orders and deliveries.
While this role is primarily warehouse-based, the ideal candidate must also be able and willing to operate company vehicles to assist with deliveries or other transportation needs when required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Pull, stage, pack, and load customer orders for delivery or pickup.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Work closely with warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Safely operate company vehicles to make deliveries, pick up inventory, or assist with transportation needs as assigned. Driving is not the primary function of this position but is an important responsibility when needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the warehouse and overall business operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience is preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and use basic computer systems.
Driver Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must meet company insurance requirements to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles, including vehicles equipped with manual (standard) transmissions when required.
- Knowledge of the local service area is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
