Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and pups! The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and able to control dogs on a leash. This role is essential in managing the front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and keeping appointments and records updated and organized.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and manage inquiries.
- Respond to emails and text messages via computer.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all materials are stocked.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff as needed.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Assist with office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution or filing.
- Provide support as a personal assistant to management when required.
- Occaisonal help in play yards.
Skills
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is required.
- Proficient in computer applications with strong typing skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in clerical tasks.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and practices is advantageous.
- Dog friendly and able to walk dogs of all sizes on a leash.
