Vandalia Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant 2 to join our team in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This position plays an important role in supporting providers and delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care
• Administer injections, medications, and treatments as directed
• Perform EKGs, lab specimen collection, and other clinical duties as needed
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care
• Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas remain clean, stocked, and organized
• Deliver excellent customer service while creating a positive patient experience

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented healthcare environment
• Knowledge of electronic medical records preferred
