Tax and Cost Basis Operations (TCBO) is part of the Custody & Asset Services division of Operational Services. As part of this mission, the Flex Team Associate plays a critical role by supporting increased volumes across the department.
What you are good at
- Research and processing cost basis adjustments for Retail and Advisor Services clients
- Option trade reconciliation, return of capital, and cost basis fixed income updates
- Review and process daily reports to ensure accuracy of the Tax Database
- Provide support to tax form production and reclassification of dividends
- Work collaboratively and optimally with others
- Effectively leverage tools and resources
- Partner with internal business partners to ensure compliance with regulations
What you have
- Highly motivated and results driven
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for service quality
- Strong MS Excel skills, ability to work with large data sets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred
- Experience working in financial services industry
- Proven tax and cost basis experience and knowledge framework
- 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of IRS regulations in relation to broker/dealer reporting
- Expertise in tax and cost basis reporting topics, such as impact of return of capital transactions, corporate actions, fixed income amortization/accretion, etc.
- Expertise in either Schwab Blue or Green Tax or Cost Basis Systems
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license preferred

Salary : $50,600 - $67,500
