Job Duties: Own the Test Automation planning, preparation, and execution. Solve problems through automation. Lead fellow engineers in writing effectives tests. Utilize and test REST services. Ability to delivery test metric visibility to stakeholders. Contribute to open source projects. Responsible for maintaining quality for various data pipelines and 3 different web applications that involve ETL processes, Web UI, Restful webservices and database objects. Responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of data within distribution & ops platform. Developing a full in-house automation test framework using Python with Pytest that helps to maintain data quality of the various data pipelines. Responsible to validate numerous ETL processes that are getting converted into the informatica cloud platform (IICS). Developing an automated test that helps to validate ETL conversion. Responsible for leading the daily job and regression runs on a daily basis. Troubleshoot the issues from the regression run and co-ordinate the efforts to fix and run clean tests.
What you have
Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and 72 months of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of a degree. . Experience must include 72 months of experience involving the following: Development of automated test scripts, frameworks, and data-validation using Python, Java, or similar; Writing and executing complex SQL queries for ETL validation, data quality checks, and end-to-end flow verification; Validating REST APIs using tools including Postman and REST Assured; parsing and verifying JSON and XML payloads; performing regression and integration testing of APIs; ETL Tools (Informatica PowerCenter/IICS) for data extraction, transformation, and load processes including workflow creation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting; Enterprise Automation tools including Control-M and SQL Server Agent: scheduling, monitoring, and maintaining batch and ETL jobs; Cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or PCF); and CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo, and Github), and test automation within cloud-based deployments.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above. Salary : $121,389 - $187,100
