Global publicly-traded technology leader headquartered in the Chelmsford, MA area seeks proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist. Will play a key role in supporting accounts receivable processes and contributing to effective cash flow management.
Accounts Receivable Specialist
Salary - $73-77K plus bonus
On-site 5 days/week (not hybrid)
Responsible for accurate financial record-keeping, driving cash collections, and building strong cross-functional relationships. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to understand the broader impact of transactions across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding invoices.
- Contact customers regarding overdue payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer credit issues.
- Maintain accurate records of account statuses and collection efforts.
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate posting to ledger accounts.
- Develop and Monitor KPI’s associated with collections.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Credit/Collections/Accounts Receivable experience.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP) a plus.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience in the technology sector or international company experience preferred but not required.
Salary : $73,000 - $77,000
