What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric RN position at CHARLES RIVER MEDICAL ASSOCIATES?
Our pediatric medical office made up of 4 MDs and 1 NP. Prior RN experience preferred. Prior experience working with children.
Hours: M-F 8:45AM-5:15PM. Plus 6 weekend hours (9a-noon) per month

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:
- 1 year or more of experience working in a medical practice preferred. New Grads welcome to apply, rotating weekends.
- Must have Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program through a national accredited certifying body.
- Current LPN/RN License.
- Great with kids!
- Strong written & verbal communication skills (for triaging patients via email messages and phone calls).
- Comfortable with the prospect of rooming and measuring children, administering vaccines, performing point-of-care testing & venipunctures; patient triage
- Excellent interpersonal skills and bedside manner for children and their families.
- Ability to prioritize work, follow through, brainstorm and collaborate to meet changing practice needs.
- Strong computer and typing skills, with previous EPIC system preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards: Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Standards: Maintain the strictest confidentiality of all patient records and protected health information.
- Regular attendance and punctuality required.

- Health Insurance: 90% of premium paid by CRMA for fulltime staff, prorated for part-time.
