This Full Time Medical Assistant position is a busy 1 MD 3 NP Cardiology office in Framingham. Seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dedicated clinical team. This position requires flexibility, strong multitasking abilities, and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure. Schedule:
2 Locations (Framingham: Monday, Tuesday, Friday; Marlborough: Wednesday & Thursday) Hours 8:00am-4:30pm, or 8:30am-5:00pm

Qualifications:
- Prior medical assistant experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support certification preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Vital Signs
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- EKG experience preferred
- Holter and Event monitor experience preferred
- Drug prior authorization / Specialty test pre-certification experience preferred
- Basic billing charge entry experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining composure

Requirements
- Ensuring a steady patient flow, minimizing unnecessary wait times
- Escorting patients from the waiting room to the exam room
- Obtaining weight and vital signs
- Performing EKGs
- Phlebotomy
- Medication reconciliation
- Allergy reconciliation
- Prescription refills
- Triage and streamline patient communications by prioritizing, tracking and resolving inquiries in a
timely manner - Chart review - ensuring all pertinent test results are received prior to patient appointment times.
- Exam room cleaning / disinfection
- Exam room re-stocking
- Check in / Check out as needed
- Copay collection as needed
- Scheduling appointments as needed
- Answering telephone calls as needed
- Processing referrals as needed
- Scheduling specialty tests as needed
- Any other job-related duties as assigned, within scope of practice
Salary : $22 - $27
