Charles Heaven & Co CPAs is a small CPA firm that provides public accounting services, including: tax services, accounting services, payroll services, audit services, and other finance related services. We are located in Waterbury, CT and have clients located in Litchfield, Hartford, and New Haven County.We are looking for a full-time accountant to join our team in providing the best accounting services to our clients. There are positions open for a staff accountant and also a manager position.The ideal candidate demonstrates client service skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong time management is a must, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Responsibilities:The majority of the time will be spent preparing tax returns and providing audit/review/compilation engagements to our clients.A very general timeline of work follows: From January to May, you will prepare tax returns including: individual, business, and fiduciary returns. From May to December, you will perform audit, review, and compilation engagements. In between, will be special accounting-related projects.Hours:Full Time. 8 hour workday Monday to Friday.Extended hours are required during tax season.
Salary : $55,000 - $80,000
