Duties
- Assist with the review and management of medical subrogation claims, including initial case intake and ongoing tracking of case status
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development and strategy
- Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents such as demand letters, settlement agreements, and case summaries with precision and clarity
- Organize and maintain case files using document management systems for efficient retrieval and compliance
- Perform data entry and document review related to personal injury law, workers' compensation law
- Support litigation processes by preparing pleadings, managing document review workflows, and assisting with trial preparation when needed
- Maintain professional phone etiquette while handling inquiries from clients or external partners
- Provide executive administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports to ensure smooth office operations
- Paralegal experience or legal administrative experience in a fast-paced law office environment desirable
- Demonstrated proficiency with legal case management software
- Experience in document review, drafting contracts or legal correspondence is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Proven ability to perform detailed proofreading and transcription tasks accurately
- Familiarity with various areas of law including personal injury law, workers' compensation law desirable
- Strong communication skills for interviewing clients and collaborating with team members effectively
- Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records efficiently
