Bugbee & Conkle, LLP is a law firm concentrating its practice in workers’ compensation, safety, and labor & employment defense. We are seeking to fill the position of Legal Assistant.
This person will be responsible for supporting attorneys and occasionally paralegals by performing a variety of administrative duties. These tasks include, greeting clients on the telephone, answering and directing calls/inquiries, accurately and efficiently producing information through transcription, formatting/editing/saving documents in accordance with our policies, maintaining attorney calendars and reminders, filing documents with the courts/agencies, as well as other tasks the attorneys assign.
We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter with strong verbal and communication skills, proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office products (Explorer, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Outlook), the ability to meet strict deadlines, and take direction. Prior office experience is a plus.
