What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Chariton Valley?
Chariton Valley Broadband, LLC is looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our team. Following our mission, Keeping You Connected, Chariton Valley has provided state-of-the-art communication solutions to businesses and residents in Northeast Missouri for 70 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile cash accounts
- Process accounts payable
- Post journal entries
- Process payroll
- Manage membership/capital credits
- Collaboration with other Craft classifications and Management to meet schedules and quality objectives
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Management
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferred: Degree in Accounting or Business, or at least four (4) years of experience in accounting and/or finance, or business
- At least two (2) years of experience in customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and a 10-key calculator
- Exceptional attention to detail
