Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, especially during events or banquets.
- Manage cash handling and transactions accurately while adhering to retail math principles.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations, drink preparation, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred, with knowledge of the food industry being a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications for bartending in your area.
