Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting low stock levels as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during banquets and catering events.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments.
- Stay informed about drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that encourages repeat business.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills required for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Experience in brewing or cocktail preparation is advantageous but not mandatory.
