What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer (Temp) position at chapman?
Under the supervision of the Director of Athletic Training, team physician and Athletic Director, this position is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities. To optimize activity and participation of over 700 athletes participating in 23 NCAA Division III sanctioned sports and one club sport (men's lacrosse).This position will have campus security authority (CSA) related responsibilities under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, which is a federal law requiring disclosure of information about crimes on and around campus.This position requires travel with teams to athletic competitions, including overnight and out-of-state trips. It requires flexibility in scheduling and evening and/or weekend hours. It may require providing own transportation to various sporting events. Satisfactory DMV check will be required in order to drive university vehicles.
