Responsibilities
- Perform detailed used vehicle inspections on trade-ins and auction purchases
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using appropriate diagnostic procedures
- Perform maintenance and repairs on engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Document inspection results and recommended repairs for reconditioning approval
- Communicate repair needs and timelines with management and service leadership
- Complete all work according to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Accurately document all repairs and services performed in the dealership system
- At least 3 years of Automotive Technician experience required (diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repair)
- Must have your own tools
- Used vehicle reconditioning experience strongly preferred
- ASE certifications preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency
- Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
