Duties
- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and durability
- Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers, and conventional painting equipment to apply coatings on various surfaces
- Execute painting projects with precision using brush, roller, or spray techniques
- Conduct surface repairs such as drywall patching
- Assist in renovation and restoration projects by installing fixtures, maintenance related tasks, and performing general handyman duties as needed
Experience
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of painting surface preparation and application techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding (including ladder use), and equipment like paint rollers, brushes, sprayers, etc.
- Experience in working with various coatings such as primers, sealers, stains, etc.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations including respiratory protection standards and safe handling of hazardous materials
