We hope you'll join our teamThe OpportunityThe Floating Medical Office Receptionist at Chaparral Medical Group (CMG), an Akido partner organization, plays a vital role in delivering a seamless and compassionate patient experience across multiple clinic locations. This position provides front office and patient access support where operational needs are greatest and requires adaptability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.What you'll doProvide front desk and patient access support across multiple CMG clinic locations as assignedServe as a welcoming first point of contact for patients, demonstrating Akido's values of empathy, respect, and accountabilityCheck patients in and out accurately, verifying demographics, insurance eligibility, and required documentationSchedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments in accordance with clinic workflowsManage incoming phone calls, messages, and patient portal inquiries in a timely and professional mannerCollect copays and patient balances and process payments per CMG policyEnsure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)Communicate effectively with clinical teams, providers, and leadership to support efficient clinic flowAssist with referrals, authorizations, and medical records requests as neededMaintain strict adherence to HIPAA, compliance standards, and organizational policiesAdapt quickly to varying clinic workflows, staffing models, and patient volumesProvide coverage during staff absences, vacations, or periods of increased demandThese responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by personnel assigned to this job classification. Chaparral Medical Group clinics are in Chino, Claremont, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino and Upland.On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMSchedule and location flexibility required based on operational needsThis position requires traveling to and supporting multiple clinic locations in Pomona ValleyPLEASE NOTE: While you will be working at a CMG clinical site, your employer will be Akido MSO.
