Position Summary:
The Sales Development Representative plays a critical role in the SaaS sales funnel by identifying, contacting, and qualifying inbound and outbound prospects. This role is focused on early-stage pipeline development and works closely with Account Executives and Marketing to drive revenue growth.
π§ Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Qualify Leads:
- Research and reach out to potential customers via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Outbound Campaigns:
- Execute cold outreach strategies to generate meetings and demos with target personas (e.g., IT leaders, finance execs, operations).
- Inbound Lead Follow-Up:
- Respond promptly to inbound interest, conduct discovery calls, and assess fit before passing to sales.
- CRM Management:
- Track activity, leads, and engagement in platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Outreach.io.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Account Executives to coordinate follow-ups, target accounts, and feedback loops.
- Qualification Criteria:
- Use frameworks such as BANT, CHAMP, or MEDDIC to evaluate opportunities.

- Meetings/Demos booked
- SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads) passed
- Response and engagement rates
- Outreach volume (emails, calls, social touches)

- 1 years of sales or business development experience (preferably in SaaS)
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy with CRM and sales engagement tools
