Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Policy Advisor remote. The Senior Policy Advisor will lead policy development, conduct research and analysis on key issues, and provide strategic insights to advance Changent’s mission. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to develop policy strategies, drafting policy briefs, managing advocacy initiatives, and keeping abreast of legislative and regulatory changes. The role also includes delivering actionable recommendations to leadership and fostering partnerships with external organizations for systemic impact.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including Policy Analysis and Research
- Proven expertise in Strategic Planning, Advocacy, and Public Policy Development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft briefs and present complex ideas
- Experience building stakeholder relationships and engaging with policymakers, partners, and community leaders
- Deep understanding of legislative and regulatory processes and their impact on families and systems of care
- Ability to collaborate and work in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Social Work, Political Science, or a related field preferred
- Experience with policy work in health, social services, or child and family programs is a plus
