Community Resource Specialist

ChangeLine
Colorado, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 4/27/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/26/2026
At ChangeLine, we believe communities are strongest when people come together to rethink, redesign, and rebuild to solve complex health and social challenges. That belief is at the heart of who we are and what we do. Prism Community Collective, an initiative of ChangeLine, is rooted in this same belief and dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ community through connection, advocacy, and access to care.

Prism Community Collective works alongside community partners to create safe spaces, strengthen resources, and provide critical support. Our mission goes beyond providing services. We're here to offer connection, healing, and growth, especially for those impacted by the tragedy at Club Q.

We're looking for a passionate, resourceful, and people-centered Community Resource Specialist to join our team onsite in Colorado Springs. In this role, you'll provide peer support, trauma-informed case management, and resource navigation through clinical providers, community organizations, and the LGBTQ community, while supporting programs and gatherings that foster healing and connection.

If you’re someone who loves solutions, building relationships, and meaningful impact, keep reading, this role is for you!

Though the community and organizational partners standing up for this initiative are working to ensure the center’s sustainability beyond current funding. This is currently a time limited grant funded position funded through the Anti-Terrorism Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP), with direct supervision by Prism’s Program and Outreach Director until November 30, 2027.

Who You Are

  • Natural Navigator. You're comfortable figuring things out as you go. When there's no clear path, you find a way forward and create clarity along the way.
  • Creative Pathfinder: You know how to track down answers, connect the dots, and make things happen, even when resources aren't obvious or readily available.
  • Trusted Advocate. You connect with people in ways that build trust and inspire action. Whether you’re facilitating a meeting, leading a conversation, or helping others find their voice, you build authentic relationships with professionalism and respect.
  • Community Builder. You lead with advocacy and support to bring people together and build meaningful professional relationships and partnerships. You love facilitating connections, hosting events, gatherings, and creating spaces where others feel supported, seen, and valued.
  • Go-Getter. You don’t wait for things to happen; you make them happen! When something doesn't exist, you find a way to build it! Taking care of others and ensuring the right resources are in place and easy to find is what drives you every day.
