**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Nurse/Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and medication management support during the day shift. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the daily care of patients, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
- Administer medications accurately and in accordance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to all nursing policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid nursing license or QMA certification in the state of Indiana.
- Previous experience in a Assisted Living facility or Skilled Nursing facility setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Insulin certification, or willing to obtain insulin certification, as a QMA is required.
**Work Schedule:**
- Day Shift 8 hour shifts
- Part-time, 32 hours per pay period (bi-weekly). The hours per pay period could be increased with consideration of 12 - 16 hour shifts.
