Chandler Industries, is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team. This position is located in our new facility, located in Wyoming, Minnesota. This position is responsible for performing quality inspection and testing on materials, parts, components, and product that is received, in-process, and finished per customer, company, and regulatory requirements. First shift position either: Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday (flexibility with start/stop times) Job Duties and Responsibilities Using work instructions, job travelers, blueprints, engineer drawings and specifications; inspects, checks, and tests materials, parts, components, and product during various stages of production including receiving, in-process, and finished. Selects and maintains the appropriate tools, gauges, scales, and equipment for the feature or characteristic required to perform inspection and testing. Checks and monitors materials and equipment to verify calibration status. Assists in troubleshooting of product processes. Perform visual inspection for conformance. Accurately documents and records inspection or test data, such as weights, dimensions, resistance, and quantities inspected, accepted, and rejected. Processes and maintains quality records to maintain accountability, acceptance, and status. Verifies documentation for compliance to established procedures. Supports and assists quality improvement teams, engineers, and operations to resolve problem issues and improve quality. Assists the supplier quality initiatives to facilitate corrective and preventative action relative to supplier quality problems and source inspection issues. Maintains an organized, clean and safe environment and maintains 5 S standards. Complies with safety rules including Personal Protective Equipment and OSHA standards.
