We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial landscapes. Your expertise in lawn care, landscaping, and groundskeeping will ensure that our clients' outdoor spaces are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy growth.
- Execute landscape maintenance duties such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance aesthetic appeal.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Build and maintain hardscapes including patios, walkways, and retaining walls to improve outdoor functionality.
- Dig and prepare areas for planting or installation of landscape features.
- Irrigate lawns and gardens effectively to ensure proper hydration of plants.
- Provide tree care services including pruning, trimming, and removal as needed.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility for clients.
- Communicate with clients regarding their landscaping needs and provide recommendations for improvements.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of groundskeeping practices and principles.
- Proficient in lawn care techniques including fertilization and pest control.
- Experience with hardscape installation and maintenance.
- Ability to operate various power tools safely (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
- Familiarity with tree care methods including pruning and health assessments.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
