SURVEILLANCE INVESTIGATOR NEEDED

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Surveillance Investigator to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing surveillance footage, conducting investigations, and ensuring the safety and integrity of our operations. Your keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and technical proficiency will help prevent loss, detect suspicious activity, and support overall security efforts. Duties

• Operate CCTV systems (including AV equipment) to monitor activity across multiple locations, ensuring continuous surveillance coverage.
• Conduct surveillance monitoring to identify suspicious behavior or potential security breaches in real-time.
• Utilize security systems and loss prevention techniques to safeguard assets and prevent theft or fraud.
• Document incidents thoroughly through detailed report writing, including observations, actions taken, and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and external agencies via internal communication channels and phone systems during investigations or emergencies.
• Assist with dispatching tasks by coordinating responses to incidents or alarms promptly and efficiently.
• Manage internal communication logs, shift reports, and incident documentation accurately for record-keeping purposes.

Skills

• Strong background in law enforcement, security, or related investigative fields with experience in surveillance operations.
• Proficiency in CCTV system operation (AV) and security system monitoring technology.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to relay information clearly and professionally.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with conflict management skills while maintaining composure.
• Basic math skills for data analysis, report calculations, and documentation accuracy.
• Customer service orientation combined with professional phone communication abilities.
• Technical proficiency in using surveillance equipment, security software, typing quickly and accurately for report writing.
• Experience with dispatching procedures, call center operations, or emergency response coordination is a plus.
