We are looking for a friendly and organized individual who is interested inbeing part of our family owned business.
Part Time position, hours may vary base on availability and during our Business hours of Monday- Friday 7am-4pm.
The AP Specialist will provide support to the accounting department, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and distribute incoming accounts payable invoices and related documents for approval
- Prepare and process invoices in Computer accurately and timely
- Review and verify Vendor Statements as needed
- Management of pending approved accounts payable
- Establish new vendors and enter data in computer
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices
- Manage deposits made on required purchase orders and invoices
- Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9’s for tax reporting
- Prepare and process weekly vendor payments
- Management and reconciliation of credit card and bank accounts
- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Sales Tax
- Manage and Balance GL accounts
Requirements
- HS Diploma
- 1-2 years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to primarily work on-site
