Champion Plumbing Sewer & Drain LLC is a fast-growing, veteran-family-owned plumbing company serving Southwest Florida. We specialize in residential and commercial plumbing, septic, stormwater, hydro-jetting, camera inspections, and Vac-Con services. As our company continues to expand, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Office Assistant with plumbing experience to join our team and help streamline our operations.
Job Summary
The Office Assistant will support daily administrative tasks to ensure efficient scheduling, customer communication, technician coordination, and accurate documentation. Plumbing experience is required for this role to ensure proper understanding of terminology, job types, materials, and workflow.
This is a full-time, in-office position with opportunities for long-term growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Schedule and dispatch jobs to field technicians
- Follow up with customers regarding estimates, service updates, and job completion
- Provide knowledgeable support based on plumbing industry experience
Administrative Duties
- Create work orders, service tickets, and estimates
- Enter and process invoices accurately
- Maintain organized records, files, and job documentation
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable tasks as needed
- Prepare daily/weekly reports for management
Technician Coordination
- Communicate job details, materials needed, and service notes to technicians
- Update job statuses in real time
- Manage daily schedules and workflow to ensure efficiency
Office Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
- Order office supplies and assist with inventory tracking
- Support management with miscellaneous tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Plumbing experience (required) — either office-based or field-based
- Strong understanding of plumbing terminology, job types, tools, and materials
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced office
- Proficient with computers, scheduling software, and email platforms
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
(Not required but a plus)
- Experience with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, or similar software
- Experience dispatching technicians
- Prior office administrator or CSR background in a trades business (HVAC, electrical, etc.)
Pay & Schedule
- $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday–Friday (standard business hours)
- Occasional overtime or weekend work depending on workload
