Drafter

Location: Chandler, Az

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: The drafter is responsible for producing accurate and detailed construction drawings for manufactured homes using AutoCAD MEP 2023. This position requires strong attention to detail, collaboration within a team environment, and effective communication across multiple departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare production build prints using AutoCAD MEP 2023
• Ensures accuracy and compliance with applicable building standards and HUD code
• Collaborate with drafting team members to complete community-based home projects
• Communicate with cross-functional departments to incorporate feedback and resolve design issues.
• Utilize project management and communication tools including Monday.com, Microsoft teams, Excel, SharePoint, and email
• Maintain organized and timely documentation of all drawings and revision
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with construction practices; experience in manufactured housing is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP (2023 preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of HUD code preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Education or prior drafting experience is helpful but not required
