Job Summary
We are seeking sports flooring installers to join our team at Champion Flooring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various flooring installation techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working in schools, colleges, churches and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship. The flooring installer will collaborate with coworkers and other tradespeople to deliver exceptional results. Travel is required with most jobs averaging 7-12 days. Hotels are covered, perdiem is paid weekly, travel pay to and from the job, profit sharing and a good benifets package.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas accurately.
- Install various types of sports flooring including poured urethane, rubber goods, welded vinyl, and carpet.
- Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the installation process.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure precise installation according to design specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.
Skills
- Proficiency in carpentry and construction site practices.
- Experience with construction painting and flooring projects is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper usage in flooring installation.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to flooring layouts.
- Familiarity with welded vinyl or epoxy installation techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and being a team member.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
