Job DescriptionAbout Us: We are a growing distribution company specializing in industrial packaging (drums, pails, and bottles). We are seeking a dedicated individual with clerical and customer service experience, as well as excellent communication skills, to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.Job Description: As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing customer interactions and handling billing processes. This position requires attention to detail, computer literacy, and a professional demeanor. On-the-job training will be provided.Responsibilities:Interact with customers via phone and email to place orders and answer questions or needsHandle billing for customersFollow up with warehouses and documentationEnsure required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standardsCommunicate with purchasing to ensure inventory levels and pricing are accurateAssist the sales force with any customer or product information they may need while they are out on the roadMaintain records of customer interactions and transactionsFollow all safety policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Outstanding phone skillsTwo years of customer service experience preferredNeat, clean, and professional appearanceExcellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stressStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong time management skillsHelpful attitude and friendly demeanorHighly professional and dependableGood computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suiteWork Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMNo overtime or weekend requirementsCompany DescriptionCompany Overview:Champion Container is the premier general line packaging container distributor in the Northeast.
