Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and reliable cook to join our dietary team in Memphis, TN. This role is essential in providing nutritious, well-prepared meals that support the health and satisfaction of our residents.
This position is part time working 2 morning shifts and 2 evening shifts.

Job Requirements:
- Previous cook experience in food service, healthcare or hospitality is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion to work with diverse aging population
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Responsibilities May Include:
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, dietary restrictions and portion guidelines
- Ensure food is cooked, stored, and served safely, following all health and sanitation standards
- Assist in menu planning and accommodate resident preferences and special diets
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas
- Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure time meal service
- Follow all facility, state, and federal guidelines regarding food preparation
