We’re partnering with our client, a fast-growing brand in the pet industry, to hire a Director of Performance Marketing who will own and elevate retail media strategy across Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart.

You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing and have the budget authority, tools, and executive visibility to make retail media a competitive advantage.

What You’ll Do

β–Ί Lead strategy, execution, and optimization of retail media across Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart

β–Ί Manage performance campaigns through Amazon DSP, Ads Console, and Pacvue

β–Ί Own the retail media budget, ensuring efficient allocation that drives conversion and sales lift

β–Ί Define testing and reporting frameworks (A/B, creative, placements, targeting)

β–Ί Deliver clear insights and recommendations to leadership, translating data into impact

β–Ί Keep the brand ahead of trends, competitors, and retailer requirements

Must-Haves

  • 10 years in performance marketing, ecommerce, or retail media (CPG or pet a plus)
  • Proven success managing Amazon campaigns (DSP, Ads Console, Sponsored Ads)
  • Hands-on Pacvue expertise
  • $3M budget ownership with clear ROI results
  • Strong agency management and cross-functional collaboration skills


Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Chewy and Walmart media campaigns
  • Familiarity with Stackline, Profitero, or CommerceIQ
  • SEO/PDP optimization knowledge to partner with content teams
  • Background in CPG or pet categories
  • Success scaling retail media budgets with incremental sales lift
  • Leadership skills to mentor/build teams as the role evolves
