Chambliss Center for Children is looking for a part-time Teacher Assistant to support our Early Head Start classrooms (ages 8 weeks-3 years). This role is ideal for someone with a CDA or early childhood background who wants a consistent, part-time schedule while still making a big impact.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Pay: Starts at $15/hour with a CDA

What You’ll Do
- Support lead teachers during lunch coverage and throughout the day as needed
- Step into classrooms (infants, 1s, and 2s) to maintain smooth routines and ratios
- Engage children in nurturing, age-appropriate play and learning activities
- Help create a safe, clean, and responsive classroom environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Assist with daily care routines and respond to children’s needs with patience and care
- Child Development Associate (CDA) required (or higher degree in early childhood or related field)
- Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a classroom setting
- A dependable, flexible approach—you’re comfortable jumping in where needed
- A warm, patient, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
