What You Will Be Accountable For
- Assist in the development, execution, and management of the IT compliance program.
- Assess IT processes and controls to identify risks, weaknesses, and opportunities for remediation.
- Execute detailed IT control testing procedures across multiple systems and platforms.
- Analyze and interpret regulatory standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and HITRUST, and advise teams on compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to support compliance reviews.
- Develop and maintain documentation of control frameworks, testing outcomes, and risk mitigation steps.
- Prepare clear, well-organized reports and dashboards summarizing findings for management and stakeholders.
- Support governance processes and ensure IT practices align with company policies and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in IT compliance, audit, or security OR a high school diploma/GED and 7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in IT security compliance, IT audit, or risk assessments.
- Experience working with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and cloud security frameworks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to synthesize technical and regulatory data for various audiences.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF functions, and creating charts/graphs.
- Understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC).
- Open and eager to learn new systems and regulations.
- Experience with ITGC control assessments and remediation tracking.
- Familiarity with cloud security and audit standards.
