Janitorial Lead (48031)

Job Description: This position will work with the Project Manager to achieve the following statement as a team. Whether it is a small or large contract customer shall continue to receive the best service from our well trained employees. To become the best janitor, day porter and/or any other jobs that may arises.

Responsibilities and duties of this position include:

• Be knowledgeable of all of Challenge Enterprises mission.
• Able to work with individuals with disabilities.
• Follow workday as directed by Project Manager.
• Schedule weekly site visits with PM (for delivery of supplies, training, equipment maintenance, quality control checks and any site related concerns).
• Understand the Statement of Work for each site.   
• Maintain timecards and payroll data via agency payroll record keeping system.
• Continuous training on the companies unified ways of cleaning at each location.
• Conduct training written documentation for employees on Safety and SDS sheets.
• Supervise personnel at contract locations as directed by the project manager
• Perform Janitorial duties when needed.
• Check tasks on job for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Communicate with the customer as trained and directed by the project manager.
• Able to communicate with staff and individuals
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to follow written/oral instructions
• Ability to work as a TEAM.
• Ability to work independently as needed to support the group’s effort.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Good Client /Customer service skills.
• Good attendance

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and MUST to able to pass background check.
• Knowledge of Challenge Enterprises Commercial Contract Supervisor Responsibilities 
• Must be able to understand written and oral instructions and follow through efficiently.
• Janitorial experience preferred.
• Must pass Level II Background screening and local background screening.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying item not to exceed 50lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
