General Laborer – 2nd Shift

Job Summary/Purpose: The General Laborer supports the production team by performing a variety of tasks involved in the manufacturing of cable trays. This includes material handling, machine operation assistance, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks inside the plan and on outside grounds.
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
- Operate floor scrubbers and empty scrap and waste cans throughout the facility.
- Assist with packaging, labeling and preparing products for shipment.
- Operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support other departments or tasks as needed to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualification:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

- Tow motor experience
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Exposure to noise, dust and metal particles
- Conditions may be hot or cold depending on season and machinery
- Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as required
- Personal Protective Equipment is required based on area/machine/job
