Position Overview
As a member of our Finance team, the Senior Accountant is integral role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and audit support. Must have a strong accounting foundation, and be eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain and analyze balance sheet accounts, including accruals and prepaid expenses
- Support external financial statement audits and bank audits
- Assist with process improvements and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support as needed
- Partner with operations and finance operations teams to support accounting needs across three manufacturing plants
- Support treasury and cash management activities, as needed and record daily cash movements in ERP
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to support accurate and timely financial reporting
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Manufacturing accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Solid understanding of core accounting concepts, including accruals and prepaids
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to work in the office full-time
- Strong work ethic and desire to take ownership of responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting experience
- Experience with any ERP system (Macola experience a plus)
- CPA or CPA candidate
