Digital Assets Researcher, Analyst

Vibrant storytellers and Chainalysis evangelists, our marketing team produces cutting-edge research to tell the story of what is happening on-chain. We’re the connectors and facilitators for key-players in the cryptocurrency industry. The Digital Asset Research Analyst plays an active role in this wider work.

The Digital Asset Research Analyst will convert raw data into actionable insights, collaborating closely with the Head of Research and other teams to provide timely information and fulfill data requests. Daily tasks include querying crypto transfer data for media or analyzing smart contract data for the research team. The right candidate will have ease of understanding complex technical concepts and be able to convey them through storytelling.

In This Role, You’ll

• Create communications and presentations for public speaking events, communications with media and external showcases for Chainalysis.
• Work closely with leadership to align impactful data driven communications with our mission.
• Translate complex digital asset research into impactful narratives for diverse audiences.
• Foster cross-functional relationships with stakeholders to create meaningful connections for the communications organization.
• Drive in-depth analysis of digital asset trends, market movements, and on-chain activities.
• Drive data collection, analysis, and reporting while identifying subtle patterns or anomalies that could significantly impact research conclusions and recommendations.
• Utilize your proficiency in one of the following: Python or R and SQL to effectively extract, clean, analyze, and visualize vast datasets related to digital assets.
  
  

We’re Looking For Candidates Who Have

• Outstanding communication skills, presentation skills and ability to create compelling data visualizations.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research for a complex field, ideally in digital assets or similar.
• Supported teams across the company including marketing, global intel, policy, sales, product management, communications and investigations.
• A passion for cryptocurrencies, digital currencies, digital assets and investigations.
• Hands-on experience with coding for data research

Compensation Range: $108K - $205K
