Janitorial Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Worker to join our facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various manufacturing spaces. Your work ensures a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will possess janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Use vacuums, and carpet cleaners to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained.
• Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, ensuring sanitation protocols are followed. This task includes employee smoking areas. Tamping smoking extinguisher containers and replacing when needed.
• Handle custodial responsibilities such as replenishing supplies, disinfecting surfaces, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
• Support industrial cleaning projects when required.
• Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning environments with a focus on janitorial or custodial duties.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Notifying purchasing when supplies need to be ordered.
• Ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks within scheduled hours. This position is integral to maintaining the quality and safety of our facilities. Pay: From $14.00 per hour
