We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong AWS expertise to support the development and maintenance of financial software applications. This role involves close collaboration with finance teams to translate business needs into scalable, efficient software solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Python-based development, cloud infrastructure, and data processing frameworks, along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $99,200.00 - $154,300.00.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong AWS expertise to support the development and maintenance of financial software applications. This role involves close collaboration with finance teams to translate business needs into scalable, efficient software solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Python-based development, cloud infrastructure, and data processing frameworks, along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Designing, developing, and maintaining financial software applications.
- Collaborating with finance and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Building and integrating APIs and cloud-native services.
- Writing clean, efficient, and testable code using modern Python frameworks.
- Ensuring software responsiveness, reliability, and performance.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Advanced Python development (Pandas, PySpark, PyTest)
- Experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI
- Strong AWS experience: Lambda, S3, Step Functions, Glue, EC2, ECS, CloudFormation, RDS, CloudWatch, Redshift
- Boto3 and AWS CLI proficiency
- Docker and Terraform usage
- REST API development and integration
- SQL and database interactions (relational, block, and file storage)
- Git, Jira, Confluence
- Agile development practices
- Shell scripting
- Unit testing and application builds
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- 8–10 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on Python and AWS.
