Your future duties and responsibilities
- Review payments for the 9/11 Victims Compensation Program and the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act, both of which have high public visibility. The candidate must pay close attention to pertinent information related to these payments.
- Demonstrate the ability to review financial accounts, ensuring proper documentation is attached to records and expenses are recorded accurately.
- Provide clear and concise feedback to junior staff regarding transactions submitted in the financial system.
- Produce routine and ad hoc reports for management review.
- Perform data analysis of current and historical information.
- Deliver excellent customer service to Finance & Accounting's clients.
- Review and approve travel authorizations.
- Coordinate invitational travel on behalf of the Government.
- Process expenditures and various financial activities.
- Send delinquency reports to employees concerning travel-related matters.
- Collaborate and participate in enhancing financial internal controls within CIV.
- Possess experience using UFMS, processing payments, establishing commitments, and performing other advanced functions.
- Proficient in reviewing financial accounts, with a strong focus on ensuring proper documentation and precise recording of expenses.
- Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ waiver.
