Your future duties and responsibilities

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $77,800.00 $136,200.00.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable REST APIs and enterprise services.
- Develop solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Core, and Web Services.
- Contribute to domain-driven API design and API lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain solutions deployed within AWS cloud environments.
- Implement automated unit and integration testing using modern testing frameworks.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized application deployment.
- Design and support high transaction production applications with a focus on scalability, availability, monitoring, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production and non production issues.
- Lead process and technology improvement initiatives.
- Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
- 6 9 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Extensive experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with Domain Driven API Design, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API lifecycle management.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
- Experience with JUnit, Cucumber, REST Assured, or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Git based development environments.
- Experience supporting high volume production applications.
- Strong understanding of scalability, availability, monitoring, and application performance.
- Experience with Splunk or similar monitoring/log aggregation platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
