Your future duties and responsibilities
How you'll make an impact
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using IBM Infosphere MDM and IBM Product Mastering Extension (PME) to support enterprise data management initiatives
- Configure and enhance IBM Stewardship Center (on IBM BAW) workflows to improve data governance, stewardship, and business process efficiency
- Develop and customize applications using Java to extend MDM functionalities and integrate with other enterprise systems
- Utilize IBM Integration Server Enterprise (ISE) and Advanced Workflows (AW) to implement scalable data integration and orchestration solutions
- Collaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and implement distributed system components, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance
- Apply strong knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and software engineering principles to build robust applications
- Follow and contribute to Agile development practices (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
What you'll bring
- 3 years of development experience
- IBM Infosphere MDM (Master Data Management)
- IBM PME (Product Mastering Extension)
- IBM Stewardship Center (built on IBM BAW)
- Java (for extensions/customization)
- IBM ISE (required for at least one member)
- IBM ISE Experience with AW (Advanced Workflows or related IBM components)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, design principles
- Agile Development Methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Kanban, Scrum)
- Comfortable communicating with teams via showcases/demos
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desired Qualifications/non-essential Skills
- Collaborate with Product Management and business partners to understand use case requirements and reporting
- Adhere to internal development best practices/lifecycle (e.g. Testing, Code Reviews, CI/CD, Documentation)
- Document and showcase feature designs/workflows
- Participate in team meetings and discussions around product development
- Stay up to date on industry latest industry trends and design patterns
