- Analyze book-to-tax differences and prepare supporting schedules, journal entries, reconciliations, and tax-related financial statement disclosures
- Coordinate with external tax advisors on federal and state income tax returns, estimated payments, and other compliance requirements
- Gather and validate financial information needed for tax filings and review completed returns for accuracy
- Monitor business activity for state tax nexus and manage registrations and filing requirements as operations expand
- Support compliance with state income, franchise, gross receipts, and other applicable taxes
- Review sales and use tax activity across multiple operating entities and identify potential compliance risks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–7 years of tax experience within corporate accounting, public accounting, or a related environment
- Hands-on experience with ASC 740, tax provisions, and deferred tax accounting
- Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax compliance
